We are the YMCA: 4,000 volunteers and staff working together with more than 115,000 people across the Lower Mainland who believe in helping children and families reach their full potential.
The challenges facing today's families aren't getting any smaller: rising costs of living, rates of inactivity and chronic diseases, and social isolation. The Y is working to solve these problems, but we can't do it alone.

1 in 5 kids come to the YMCA requiring financial assistance to participate in YMCA programs. Financial challenges and the high cost of living make it challenging or sometimes impossible to afford access to life-enhancing YMCA programs. When you give to the YMCA, you are giving directly to people so they can get active and connected to their community.
