Teens and Adults Welcome
There's lot to learn in the English language! Our English Conversation Clubs are a great way to build English language skills, meet new friends and learn more about life in Canada. Trained volunteer facilitators, who were either born in Canada or are long-time residents, lead small group discussions about everything from social customs in Canada to Canadian prime ministers!
To participate, you must be a Permanent Resident. Participants must bring their PR cards on their first visit.
Drop-in and registered clubs are available in Vancouver and Burnaby. Drop-in sessions take place each week at Robert Lee YMCA and Vancouver Community College (VCC). Registered clubs run once a week for 4 weeks (1 month) at Brentwood Resource Community Centre in Burnaby.
